United Kingdom: Workshop for social partners and multipliers will be announced shortly

equal pacE offers train-the-trainer workshops for social partners, multipliers and public authorities in five European countries (Finland, France, Poland, Portugal, and the United Kingdom). The goal is to provide social partners, multiplier organisations and public authorities with strategies and tools to support their member institutions and the public in attracting and retaining top talent irrespective of gender and thus contribute to a reduction of the gender pay gap. The equal pacE web tool will be introduced and its usage practiced. The workshops are free of charge. The first workshop is to be held in the United Kingdom and will be announced shortly.

equal pacE: train-the-trainer workshop for social partners and multipliers

The workshop in the United Kingdom is addressed to social partners and multipliers. Target participants are:

  • Social partners (employer and business organisations, unions, work councils)
  • Multipliers (e.g. associations promoting gender equality)
  • Public authorities

The workshops aim at providing participants with strategies and tools to support their member institutions in attracting and retaining top talent irrespective of gender and thus contribute to a reduction of the gender pay gap. Hence, the objectives of the workshops are:

  • To introduce how equal pacE contributes to a reduction of the gender pay gap
  • To understand the status quo of the gender pay gap and its main drivers
  • To learn how companies can detect a potential gender pay gap and what they can do to reduce it
  • To understand how participants can systematically promote activities regarding the reduction of the gender pay gap and position themselves successfully
  • To discuss how other countries are tackling this issue and broaden your network by discussing innovative strategies with peers

Main focal point of discussion will be the equal pacE web tool. The equal pacE web tool helps businesses to analyse their personnel and pay structure and hereby enhances transparency regarding a potential gender pay gap. Results highlight need for action and recommendations are provided to strengthen their personnel structures - irrespective of gender. The equal pacE web tool is easy to use and free of charge.

Workshop participants will receive comprehensive material for use in their initiatives. The workshop is open to up to 15 representatives of social partner organisations, multipliers and public authorities.

The workshop for the United Kingdom will be announced shortly

As soon as the date and the location of the workshop are fixed, a registration form will be activated on the equal pacE website for the United Kingdom.
